Congressman Andy Levin (MI-09), Deputy Whip of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, released the following statement:
"After months of good-faith negotiations by POTUS and Democratic leadership, I'm deeply disappointed by Senator Manchin's sudden reversal today. The American people are relying on the Build Back Better Act to lower costs, lift up working families and begin in earnest the long-overdue effort to tackle climate change. My constituents sent me to Congress to fight for these policies, and I won't give up because one person goes back on his word."
